Writing and publishing can be frightening experiences for anyone. They force us to step outside our comfort zones, to really take an honest look at ourselves, and to put our real selves out where others can see – and sometimes judge – us. It’s encouraging to hear about others moving forward and claiming their dreams, despite the difficulties in the past.
Very true, K M! Taking a book to publication is like a public declaration of ourselves, and can be pretty scary. Thanks for honoring my forward movement in the face of obstacles! 🙂
